There is no doubt that 2014 has been a very interesting year indeed. As Editor of Kent Women in Business Magazine I have been fortunate enough to meet some ordinary women doing extra ordinary things. From the 2nd Kent Women in Business Awards that was held in March the mood of being in a ‘recession’ seems to be lifting and people are looking forward to embarking on a new adventure in 2015. Nominations for the KWIB Awards has only just opened yet the nominations are flying in, customers are showing their appreciation of companies they have done business with and there is a real sense of congratulations across the board.
So why has the mood now lifted? I believe it is because people are becoming more aware of how in control of their lives they actually are and that the action they take is directly affecting the results they are achieving. This is why holding and event such as LEGACY will further enhance this mood and allow people the opportunity to grow and discover more about themselves in an environment that definitely breeds success.
Is there some part of your life that isn’t giving you results, or not giving you the feelings you thought you would have? Just by admitting there is, is one HUGE step forward. My own year of 2014 has been momentous for my development as I have been totally honest with myself about all aspects of my life. This honest has led me to explore my capabilities even further and I am proud of the results. I am constantly looking for ways in which I can improve and I too, expect to be blown away by the LEGACY Conference and am excited with the line up we are bringing on board. I can guarantee that you will feel the impact of LEGACY, and I have a feeling it will be a massive turning point in the lives of many of the attendees.
I look forward to meeting many forward thinking women over these two days of potential transformation.
