Legacy 2020

Everything has changed so it’s not a question of if you’re launching but what you’re launching

Most projects that were in the pipeline will need to be rethought, canceled or postponed, but this doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It’s possible for you to launch a project that is even better for your organisation and those you serve than any prior project. We are being forced to think in new and creative ways and great things will come of that.

Now it’s more important than ever that your next project is launched well, The Legacy Conference will equip you to do that

Some transformations can only happen in-person

The breakthroughs that happened at Legacy 2019 bought many to tears. Something happened from the inside out, not only were businesses changed but lives were changed and guards completely came down.

This is why Legacy 2020 has to be in person and numbers will always be small. This level of transformation couldn’t have happened in a large event and it couldn’t have happened virtually.

I know that many are still apprehensive about gathering in-person, but I also know that some transformations can only happen in person. Many have virtual event fatigue and need a transformational event like this to enter the next season.

Have you ever launched and encountered this...

  1. There is no clear launch process
  2. There is no clear purpose
  3. The launch team is wrong
  4. The product isn’t commercially viable
  5. The promotional activity isn’t sufficient
  6. There is limited focus on long-term profit

These are the 6 launch mistakes that cause most projects to fail. I launched this event so that leaders like you can avoid negative experiences like this, and launch projects smoothly, profitably and successfully.

In uncertain times like these it is so important that you plan, prepare and mitigate risk as much as possible, The Legacy Conference will equip you to do that.

Introducing the 6P Launch Framework™

Based on 14 years of experience launching projects of all kinds I’ve developed a proven framework for launch success, you’ll learn this framework and use it to develop your own launch blueprint in the 6P Launch Planner that every delegate will receive.

2 days to focus on the project that matters most to you

As much as you’d like to focus on your launch and finally get that project off the ground I understand that you don’t have the time or bandwidth to fit it into your schedule. Often the urgent preceeds the important, so I have created the time and space for you to focus on the project that is most important to you; that project that could really change your future and help you build a lasting legacy.

Two days of dedicated focus away from the office in an immersive environment where you’ll have access to the experts, knowledge and support you need to create your launch blueprint, get all your questions answered and ensure that you execute a successful launch that leads to long-term financial success in 2020 and beyond.

At the end of these 2-days you’ll have a detailed launch plan and be fully equipped and ready to go!

Social distancing

I want you to know that your safety is of the utmost priority to me there will be about 20 people in the room and here are the precautions that we’ll have in place:

  • Limited number of staff and vistors at the event
  • Physical distancing in rooms and kitchens
  • Reduced furniture to assist with safe distancing
  • Further cleaning procedures in addition to a rigorous cleaning rota
  • Staff handwashing after every interaction
  • Sanitisation stations
  • Staff wearing PPE around the building
  • All delegates will also have access to PPE

6 reasons to attend The Legacy Conference

Launch goals

Ensure that you have crystal clear goals and objectives for your launch. Without clear goals it's impossible to measure the success of a launch.

Launch skills

Ensure you have access to the skills you need, because the right team can make even a mediocre idea work, but without the right team even a great idea can fail.

Commercial viability

Ensure that your idea is commercially viable before launching it. Avoid wasting time and money by doing the math first.

Marketing strategy

Have a winning go-to-market plan and evergreen marketing strategy. You can have the greatest idea in the world but if the right message, isn't delivered to the right people at the right time it will fail.

Launch process

Get a clear and well-defined launch process so that your launch runs smoothly. Without clear process cost and schedule overruns are inevitable.

Long-term profit

Develop a plan for long-term profit so that your project doesn't begin and end with the launch. Without a clear plan for growth and long-term profit any launch success will be short-lived.

Katrina Douglas

I’m Katrina Douglas Founder of The Legacy Conference, Launch Strategist and author of the book ‘Momentum: 90 Days of Marketing and Motivation to Kick-Start Your Business’. I worked my way up the corporate ladder for a decade to Head of UK Marketing for a global brand and then launched my own business. I’ve been launching projects for 14 years; everything from TV campaigns, cloud-based platforms and apps, to physical products, and a sold-out event in the Royal Albert Hall.

I’m passionate about helping business leaders launch projects that are purposeful and profitable, that lead to greater personal satisfaction and sustainable wealth.

I’ve developed a 6-step launch framework and consultancy program that includes pre-launch, during launch and post-launch support which forms the basis of everything I do including The Legacy Conference. My mission is to equip an army of Legacy builders, people that are driven by longevity and making a meaningful difference in society whilst generating long-term financial wealth.
